 Dear Member,

From the 1st January2022 we are required to add some words to the St Andrew’s Episcopal Church Constitution recording that virtual meetings can take the place of having meetings in person, and that decisions which are made comply legally.

The wording that we are asking for your agreement to be added to our constitution is as follows:

“Whilst it is envisaged that Vestry meetings will take place in person and usually within the Church, where a national emergency or crisis dictates, meetings can be held “virtually” between Vestry members and decisions taken are in accordance with the rules stipulated by quorum numbers.”

This change will be an agenda item and proposed to the members as a rule change at the AGM on 5th December 2021.

 Kind regards,

 W Keith Redpath.(Chair of Vestry).
